Overview

Clip Scholar helps authorized creators convert their own educational videos into short clips and upload those clips to TikTok using TikTok's official APIs.

Information We Process

• TikTok account information authorized through Login Kit, such as open ID, display name, avatar, and profile information.
• Creator-provided video URLs, generated clip files, captions, and upload status.
• Basic logs needed to operate, debug, and secure the service.

How We Use Information

• To authenticate the creator's TikTok account.
• To create short vertical videos from creator-provided source videos.
• To upload drafts or publish posts to the creator's TikTok account when authorized.
• To maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, including TikTok for authentication and video posting, and optional AI providers for transcription and clip selection.

Retention

Generated working files are retained only as long as needed to complete processing unless the creator chooses to keep them. Access tokens and logs are retained only as needed for app functionality, security, and compliance.

User Control

Creators may revoke TikTok authorization in their TikTok account settings. They may also request deletion of stored account data, tokens, and generated files by contacting the app operator.
